Like many pianists, I grew up practicing on an old, out-of-tune (but well-loved) junker. This drove me to join the forces of piano technicians who strive to bring a sweeter melody to homes across the world.
As an apprentice, I witnessed my instructor transform the experience of countless piano owners. I learned that proper piano care is much more than regular tuning. It takes cleaning, repairs, and regulation to round off the job and create a satisfied customer and a motivated pianist.
When my career led me to building pianos at the Mason & Hamlin factory, I got a rare deep-dive into how pianos are constructed and I gained a firm grasp on the level of excellence pianos are capable of attaining.
Later, as the field technician for a prestigious piano dealer in the NYC area, and now, with my own business, I love using my skills and high standards to bring joy and motivation to customers of my own.
